Aloha, I read a thread on this forum from 2007 that came close to answering burning question I have: Is there an easy way to feed just the first loop to the drummer? Right now we're sending the entire signal to the drummer. The only way I can see to do it is to put an a/b box after the loop and manually swith over. But that means more foot tapping. Any other ideas? I'm using a Gibson Echoplex Digital Pro Plus. thnks!

Re: Splitting looper's signal for better monitoring -- suggestions?
Fri, May 29, 2009 - 2:18 AMHi Tom,
I just wonder, if you ever found a solution for your problem. Because right now i am in the same situation. I really would like to know how to deliver our drummer the first loop and only this one, not more.
Grateful for any useful hints.

Re: Splitting looper's signal for better monitoring -- suggestions?
Sun, June 21, 2009 - 12:28 PMyou guys haven't said what looper you are using.
I'm not sure if there are multiple outs on the RC50 but
the Looperlative has all kinds of alternate routings you can use.
You can route everything to your stereo outs and then route just one loop
to an AUX out that goes directly to a little sub $100 mixer that you can provide
your drummer with either a headphone out or a powered monitor out.
The more I use this Looperlative, the more I love it and , especially, it's flexibility in
routing. The price is coming down on them now, too. Right now, I believe you can
pre-order them for a grand (which is 500 clams cheaper than they used to be).
When you consider that it is the equivalent of 16 Echoplexes or 5 RC 50s with much more routing capabilities,
the thing starts sounding pretty sweet.
LOL, and it now has a sexy anodized royal purple faceplate that I lobbied heavily for...................
I don't usually post commercials online, but I just frigging love this machine and I've owned almost everything
on the market (with the notable exception of laptop software solutions which are also very elegant but much more
time consuming in setting up).
