hi its me again.
i have little of the teccie language . .
but would appreciate anyone's opinion on the roland sp-555 creative sampler . .
does anyone have experience of using this equipment live?
are there any downfalls here?
i imagine its essentially a dj-based sampler
. .and i'm a musician (keyboard. vocals mainly)
keen to layer loops of other instruments to create a fuller sound. auto harp. drum. glockenspiel. etc.
would love to hear what anyone has to say here. .
thanks hey

Re: roland sp-555
Fri, January 16, 2009 - 7:08 AMactually, to be more refined my question is as follows.
on the sp-555, the live loop capture . .
can you capture a loop and save it to the pad without having to stop the loop playing . .
and then capture another , , and another. .while saving them in sequence to the pad . .
and not once have to stop the sound . .?
would there be a silent break everytime as you save each?
can't seem to find this out on video tutorials.
think i might be looking for a cheaper option than the looperlative, but perhaps
should save up for that guy.
over and out.
